The two weeks before Easter saw Arcangelo embark on its most ambitious concert tour so far: a five-date major venue tour of Bach's St Matthew Passion.
Capacity audiences welcomed Arcangelo, Jonathan Cohen, and soloists Nick Pritchard, Alex Rosen, Carolyn Sampson, Anna Dennis, Hugh Cutting, Hugo Hymas and Thomas E. Bauer at the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona (27 March), the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville (29 March), the Barbican Centre (1 April), DESINGEL Arts Centre in Antwerp (2 April) and the Konzerthaus Dortmund (3 April).
