Learn about the new Vivaldi recording by Tim Mead and Arcangelo in our free online event, also including an online tour of Vivaldi’s venice with novelist and Venice University Professor Gregory Dowling.
Inspired by a concert collaboration at the 2019 MAFestival in Bruges, Tim Mead and Arcangelo’s forthcoming recording project will also be Tim’s eagerly-awaited solo recital album. For the occasion, Tim has chosen to enlarge on the Bruges concert with a programme dedicated to the sacred and worldly aspects of Antonio Vivaldi.
Our online event will reveal more about the recording, including the thought processes that guided Tim’s particular choices. We are also delighted to be able to set the scene with an online tour of 18th century Venice led by Gregory Dowling, Professor of Anglo-American literature at the University of Venice, and an author and journalist with credits including Time Out. There will also be information about how to support the recording project as a donor, and an invitation to pledge your support.
